Qulaan Mangrove lies within Wadi El Gemal Natural Reserve. It is a Unique place with big lagoon surrounded by Mangroves with the old / huge Mangrove tree near sea as place highlight.
Go in morning or early afternoon to avoid crowds from bus tours that come from all hotels. They usually visit Hankorab / Sharm Al Luli first then Qulaan, so if you go at morning you’ll avoid those bus tours. You’ll have the place all for yourself.
You can enjoy a coffee or any drink at Al Ababda Tribe small camp / cafe, if you choose to stay in this small cafe / camp you’ll pay 10 EGP beside drinks price.
