The Mosque of Sayyida Eisha situates adjacent to Salah Salem Road in a famous square that carries the title of the mosque. It was set up within the 18th century by Emir Abd El-Rahman Katkhoda who is credited with building numerous amazing places around Cairo. El-Sayyida Aisha is the girl of Jafar El-Sadiq and one of the individuals of the family of Prophet Mohammed. She kicked the bucket in Egypt in 762 and was buried in her tomb that had been redesigned numerous times by a few supporters since the Hassock period till the time of Katkhoda. The mosque of Sayyida Aisha may be a perfectly beautified building that was redesigned within the 20th century and is still protected. The cenotaph of Sayyida Aisha lies in one of the corners of the mosque.
